Hamel Strategic Partners is a relationship platform connecting the best investment managers from around the world with quality allocators of capital in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.
Hamel was created to help Australian investors access a greater range of quality investment solutions. The firm's founders recognised that quality independent investment managers sought partners who specialised in relationship management complementing their own investment capabilities without the arrangement being based on any form of ownership.
At Hamel we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their investment goals and we do this by listening and then partnering with quality investment managers.
Our partnership approach with investment managers centres on creating a clear alignment of interest, built on the values of transparency, trust and cultural collaboration. We are a firm, as our name suggests, driven to harness the best resources from around the world and deliver clear successful results for all stakeholders.
Australia is recognised as one of the world's leading sources of investment capital.
Underpinned by guaranteed capital contributions from Australian workers, the superannuation system continues to maintain Australia’s global position in terms of size, and it continues to grow at a significant rate.
Importantly, the pillars of this system are well-regulated and more conducive than ever to specialist investment managers finding clients who simply seek quality investment solutions.
The infrastructure that supports superannuation investors manage their retirement savings is diverse. From large institutions who look after pooled funds chosen by tens of thousands of individuals, to those who offer varying levels of advice from full advice, sub-advice or those that offer and implementation advice for self managed superannuation.
The ecosystem is constantly evolving, however the recent Australian Royal Commission into Banking and Finance has created further opportunity in the system by causing major banks to divest their investment, insurance and advice divisions. Working with, and knowing who the key market participants are more important than ever.
Australia is a healthy place for new boutique investment managers who have great local relationship managers in place. Hamel Strategic Partners provides specialist investment managers with the relationship infrastructure to engage the Australian market. Hamel provides an all-in-one client engagement platform or a tailored approach to leverage current manager relationships.
Hamel Strategic Partners recognises that behind any investment opportunity there is the need to have a thorough understanding of the proposal: the potential value of the market, the risks that may stifle or derail a managers potential, and the opportunity milestones critical to identifying the correct path. Importantly, trust must be built and managed.
Hamel Strategic Partners focuses only on relationship management - we are not investment managers, brokers, financial advisers or a platform. Our independence and therefore your independence is an important critical step to success.
If you are considering engaging in the region, Hamel Strategic Partners would be pleased to provide you with our regional introduction pack or if a deeper appraisal is sought, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We aim to create value with every action. We want to partner with an organisation dedicated to raising assets by helping our clients achieve their investment goals and priorities but most importantly, meet our shared client’s goals and expectations. Our partnerships will have aligned interests and values built on transparency, trust and cultural collaboration.
We are here to help managers make informed, appropriate and commercial decisions to successfully help our clients build their business and brand.
